New Enhancements, Added Versatility

The upgraded Gen-Eye SD® Series pipe inspection camera gives you all the features of a full size video inspection system in a compact, portable package. The integral SD Card Reader records video or still images – it can store as much as 32 GB of data on one card.  Keep a copy for your records and make copies for your customers.

In addition to the card reader, the Gen-Eye SD Command Module includes a large 10.4” LCD color monitor for crisp, clear pictures. And the full-size, waterproof keyboard permits nine pages of on-screen titling. It also sports an on-screen distance counter, built-in voice-over microphone with switch, LED dimmer control, camera test port, and video and audio out connections for external recording devices.

All are safely contained in a heavy-duty, padded Pelican case weighing just 12 lbs. The fully adjustable docking arm lets you mount the monitor on a big capacity reel loaded with Gel-Rod® push-rod and a color self-leveling camera. With this easily maneuverable, all-in-one package you’re all set to trouble-shoot 3” to 10” lines with the standard reel, or inspect 2” to 3” lines with the mini-reel.

  • Waterproof Keyboard
    You get up to nine pages of text to add your company name and job location to each video you make.
  • Integral SD Recorder
    Record video or still images. Stores as much as 32 GB of data on one card.
  • Wi-Fi Transmitter (Available with Gen-Eye SDW and SDP)
    Sends video to your Smartphone or tablet. A free App lets you easily view and record video inspections at a range of up to 300 feet.
  • Rechargeable Battery (Available with Gen-Eye SDP)
    For remote applications far from a power source. Battery last for up to 4 hours. Panel indicator lets you know when the battery is running low.
  • Heavy-Duty Pelican Case
    Protects LCD screen, electronics, and your investment.

  • Self-Leveling Camera
    Automatically keeps picture right side up as the camera glides through the line. Just 1.625” in diameter with 16 Bright-White LED’s to illuminate up to 10” lines.
  • Mini Self-Leveling Camera
    Mini Self-Leveling camera is just 1.125” in diameter with 4 Super Bright LEDs to light up 2” to 3” lines with 15% more candle power than other models.
  • Built-in AC/DC converter
    Allows you to operate in the field with truck power alone.
  • Built-in voice over recording
    Internal microphone and on/off switch lets you add commentary to your videos.
  • On-screen distance counter
    Lets you keep track of how much push-rod you’ve fed into the line. Switchable between standard and mini reels.
  • Date and Time Stamp
    You can document the date and time of each job for your records.
  • Other features include
    Internal 512 Hz transmitter, dimmer control, camera test port, 2″, 3” and 6” trap skids, and storage compartment for power cords, tools, and remote controls.

Flexibility, Strength, Durability

A tough, Gel-Rod® push rod protects against moisture damage if the rod is cut or abraded.  Its Kevlar® braid, fiberglass core, and durable sheath provide for maximum pushing and pulling power.

Big Capacity Reels

The standard reel holds 200 ft., 300 ft., or 400 ft. of push rod on a sturdy frame and takes up little space in your truck.  Ten inch wheels ensure easy transport to and from the job.  The mini reel carries 100 ft. or 200 ft. of push rod in a compact frame for easy handling without taking up too much room in your truck.

Compact Power and Advanced Features

The upgraded Gen-Eye SD® Series combines full-size inspection features in a portable design. Its SD Card Reader stores up to 32 GB, while the Command Module offers a 10.4” LCD monitor, waterproof keyboard, on-screen titling, distance counter, voice-over mic, and external video/audio connections.

Advanced Skid designs

Skids keep the camera centered in the pipe for a better view, while reducing drag on longer runs.  Standard systems include both 2″, 3″ and 6″ trap skids that protect the camera from abrasion as it slides through cast iron traps.  Optional 3-in-1 skid set for 4″, 6″ and 8″ lines, and Universal Roller Skid for 6″ to 12″ lines are also available.
