Water Jetter Nozzles – General Pipe Cleaners Guide

General Pipe Cleaners’ Water Jetter Nozzles Guide

Posted

When out in the field, you can be up against grease, sand or ice, which means you need a nozzle to meet those needs. At General Pipe Cleaners, we have a variety of nozzles that are designed for maximum drain cleaning and penetrating power to pressure wash the pipe walls and to go around sharp bends.

All of General’s sewer jetter nozzles are made of hardened stainless steel to last longer in abusive environments and are designed for use with our water jetter systems. In this blog post, we will take a deep dive into each of our drain jetter nozzles and how these cleaning tools can help with blockages, improve flow rate, and ultimately help on any jobsite.

Drain Cleaner Penetrating Nozzle

The penetrating nozzle is designed to cut through grease, dislodge mud, debris and melt ice. The narrow spray pattern to the rear offers maximum thrust to push the jetter hose down the drain line.

Flushing Nozzle

The wide spray pattern clears debris and flushes the line clean from power washing the wall thoroughly. It’s especially a good finishing tool after the stoppage has been cleared.

Spring Leader Nozzle

A flexible spring on the front of the nozzle helps guide the hose around tight bends. The narrow spray pattern offers maximum thrust to push the hose down the line.

Downhead Nozzle

The downhead nozzle features a flexible spring on the swivel joint at the front that guides the hose down tees and difficult bends. It’s available for 1/8″ hoses only.

Rotary Nozzles

For wall-to-wall cleaning action, the rotary nozzle scours the inside of the pipe leaving the plumbing lines crystal clear. The JN-RB heavy-duty hardened stainless steel rotary nozzle has two 90-degree jets to scour the walls of the pipe, and two 35-degree jets to drive the hose down the line. The less expensive JN-RA hardened steel rotary nozzle has two 45-degree jets for combined thrust and cleaning action when used in conjunction with General’s water jetters.

Chain Saw Nozzles

The chain saw nozzle rips through roots as it spins up to 10,000 RPM. The 1/2″ nozzle works well in combination with the 12 GPM Typhoon trailer jetter to clear 4″, 6″, 8″ and 10″ lines. The 3/8″ nozzle is available in 5.5 and 8 GPM models to clear 4″, 6″ and 8″ lines.

High Performance Trailer Jetter Nozzles

General’s high-performance jetting nozzles for the Typhoon trailer jetter incorporate patented fluid mechanics that significantly increase the thrust, pulling power and cleaning power of the nozzles without needing to increase the water flow or pressure.

High-performance nozzles are custom machined to redirect the high-pressure water through highly efficient inner surface channels directed toward each orifice.

Chisel Point Nozzle

The chisel point nozzle breaks through tough clogs and is a good starting tool to loosen even the toughest debris and sand to flush it from the pipe.

Traction Nozzle

The traction nozzle gives the user maximum pulling power and is used to punch through stoppages and destroy grease clogs. It’s also ideal for blasting sand and mud from the line.

Cleaning Nozzle

Finish the job by using the cleaning nozzle to flush the line clean. It features power pressure washer capabilities, which cleans the pipe walls thoroughly.

By using our nozzle guide, any user can find a nozzle that best suits their needs for every job they face. With a variety of models to choose from, General has a nozzle to meet your demands in almost any situation.
